Landscape as an Experiment

There is more than enough landscape along the river Wümme. For exactly 50 years the artistically designed Wümme-calendar has bore witness of that, and for 40 years, the Bremen-born artist Frauke Beeck has been the one to illustrate the calendar with her unique works.

Celebrating this recent anniversary, we exhibit a retrospective on several decades of her experimental work on landscapes.
